The Rector, in order to exercisetheirfunctions, having consulted with the Deputy Rector, may appoint one or more delegates, chosen among the tenured professors and researchers of the University, without imposing any additional burdens on the University budget.

For the 2018-2024 period, the Rector has appointed the following delegates:
- ʰǴڱǰ – with Rectoral Decree no. 886 of 5 November 2018– Delegate for the Coordination, Monitoring and Support of the initiatives for the integration of people with disabilities within theUniversity;
The delegate will work in synergy with the actions promoted by the Delegate for Hospitality to students, PhD students and researchers, Professor AndreaMoriondo; - ʰǴڱǰ – with Rectoral Decree no. 156 of 6 March 2019– Delegate for Innovation and Technological Transfer
Mandate: the promotion and consolidation ofUniversityinitiatives for the promotion ofresearchresults, skills and knowledge, as well as general technological transfer processes (such as patents,start ups,spin-offsandindustrial partnerships); - ʰǴڱǰ – with Rectoral Decree no. 886 of 5 November 2018– Delegate for Teaching and Innovation
Mandate: general coordination of the University’s educational-training activities, in order to promote the University’s skills and the dissemination of the Culture of Quality in planning anddevelopingeducational programs. The encouragement of innovative and interdisciplinary educational-training initiatives and the promotion of teaching innovation processes also fall within the scope of themandate; - Professor– with Rectoral Decree no. 380 of 5 June 2019- Delegate for Sustainable Development
ѲԻ岹ٱ:- promoting sustainable development actions on the part of the University, also in collaboration with other companies, public institutions and associations and with the RUS group – the University network for sustainabledevelopment;
- manage relations with the Observatory of the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI),in order to fostercommunication and cooperation amongUniversitiesandcompanies;
- manage relations with the Smart Cities & CommunitiesLombardiaCluster Foundation

Mandate: promoting practices of sustainable mobility for home-university commutes, in order to improve the accessibility ofuniversity buildings, thus increasing their attractiveness. - ʰǴڱǰ –with Rectoral Decree no. 144 of 26 February 2021– Delegate for

Mandate: coordinating and strengthening hospitality activities for students, PhD students and researchers, including activities linked to right to study and relations with local institutions for the stipulation of serviceagreements; - ʰǴڱǰ – with Rectoral Decree no. 42 of 20 January 2021– Delegate for labor union relations and integrative collective bargaining for the technical-administrative personnel of the University ofInsubria

Mandate: organizing and coordinatingincoming,ongoingand outgoing orientation initiatives, in order to facilitate informed choices on the part of students and strengthen relations with schools,with a view tocontinuing education, and with stakeholders,with the prospect of accessingthelabor market. The organization and coordination of the whole communication structure (paper, web, public engagement) also falls within the scope of themandate, in order to provide a coordinated image of the University and facilitate fundraising activities for specific projects andcampaigns; - ʰǴڱǰ – with Rectoral Decree no. 143 of 26 February 2021– Delegate for the University’s Strategic Planning
Mandate: the mandate’s operational activities include the implementation, monitoring, update and promotion of the University’s strategic plan, in strict adherence to the orientation of the electoral program, by coordinating departmental activities and following the activities at the University level,includingthe interdepartmental plan on Data Science - ʰǴڱǰ – with Rectoral Decree no. 886 of 5 November 2018– Delegate for the Promotion of Cultural Heritage
Mandate: coordinating and promoting cultural, architectural, museum, archive and other initiatives, also maintaining relationships with the relevant authorities, paying particular attention to the contemporary world and relationswith theterritory; - ʰǴڱǰ – with Rectoral Decree no. 418 of 17 June 2020- Delegate for Institutional Relations for the Busto Arsizio building

Mandate: in addition to the tasks already assigned in art. no. 2, paragraph 2 of the University’sRegulations on international mobilityforstudents and professors:- representing the Rector, when they cannot participate,in international meetings and events with foreign delegationsvisiting theUniversity;
- promoting initiatives that aim to develop the international standing of the University and its network of foreignrelations;
- coordinating the delegates for internationalization of the individual Departments,thusguaranteeinganharmonious and ordered development of internationalizationinitiatives;
- supervising, also through guidelines, the organization and development of educational activities and study abroadexperiences;
- contributing, in cooperation with the Rector’s delegate for Communication, Orientation and Fundraising, to the promotion of the University’s internationalization activities through social media and the media ingeneral;
- monitoring the implementation of calls which include international activities, also by participating, if deemed appropriate, in selection and evaluation committees.
